Get your free SNAP Card from thousands of high street outlets.
SNAP Cards are also available for free from thousands of retailers across the UK. You can also top-up SNAP at these retailers as well as at thousands of Post Offices across the country. Check our online Store Locator for the retailer nearest to you, or watch for the SNAP logo in shop windows.
How it works
Ask for a new SNAP Card or hand over your existing card to the shop assistant and tell them the amount you wish to load onto it:

The assistant will swipe your card and will give you a receipt once you have paid.
You can start spending as soon as your SNAP Card is loaded. There is no need to register.
When the amount on your card is getting low, just top it up again.
Order a card via Sky TV
You can now order a SNAP Card from the comfort of your sofa. Simply go to Sky Interactive and press 7627 (“SNAP”) on your remote control. Choose order a card and follow the instructions on screen (We can send you a free SNAP Card directly in the post. You can even choose your favourite card from a range of images. Just fill out the online application form and we'll do the rest.
